Paul Edward Bevis, age 53, of Florence, passed away March 3, 2017. Visitation was Saturday, March 4, from 5-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be today, March 5, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will be at Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery.
Paul was a member of Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ. He was an outgoing man who never met a stranger. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Pride and Earline Bevis; brothers, Buck and Terry Bevis; aunt, Mott Pickens; and uncle, Charlie Hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Bevis; daughters, Crystal (Greg) Green and Kayla (Thomas) Kelley; grandchildren, Alexis, Jaxson, and Logan Green and Cheyene Kelley; brothers, Randall (Brenda) Bevis, Johnny Bevis, Bird (Tess) Bevis, Mark (Vicki) Bevis, Kenny Bevis, and JoeJoe (Linda) Bevis; sisters, Kathy (Donald) Butler, Amanda (Joe) Hill, and Kim Bevis; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
