Margaret Helen Green – Obituary

Margaret Helen Green passed away at the age of 84 on March 1, 2017, in Huntsville, AI where she was born on July 8, 1932 and lived the majority of her life.

Mrs. Green volunteered/worked at the Huntsville Humane Society for 30 plus years. She was one of the original volunteers that helped build the Huntsville Humane Society Thrift store to be a very successful fund raiser for them. She was a very loving and caring person and would do anything for anybody even when she couldn’t afford to.

She is survived by her daughters Debbie Coulson (Mike), Denise Murdock Handley (Steve) and son, Tony Tribble (Tammy). She had 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one nephew and many cousins. Many others outside her family called her Momma or Maw Maw because of her unconditional love for all.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ridley Carr and Ruby Ethel Rector, sister Edna Shelton Reeves and brothers Melvin Rector, Ridley C. Rector, Jr., Wayne Rector and Andrew Shelton.

Mrs. Green’s service will be at Berryhill Funeral Home on March 5, 2017. Visitation will be from12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with services starting at 2:00 p.m. Pall Bearers will be Justin Gerthoffer, Matthew Gerthoffer, Josh Owen, Greg Bullard, Devin Handley and John Tribble. Honorary Pall Bearer is Brandon Brown. Graveside services will be held at Ford’s Chapel Cemetery in Harvest, Alabama.
