School Closures And Delays Due To Weather Threat

THE TENNESSEE VALLEY-Due to the threat of severe weather several schools in the area will be closed on Wednesday, March 1:

Albertville City Schools  dismissing at 11 a.m. All afterschool activities are cancelled March 1

Arab City Schools  closing at 11 a.m. March 1

Boaz City Schools will dismiss at 11 a.m. March 1  All afternoon activities cancelled

Colbert County Schools  cancelling after-school activities March 1

Cornerstorne Christian Academy in Rainsville will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. March

Cullman City Schools closing at 11:30 a.m. March 1

Cullman County Schools will dismiss at 11:30 AM March 1. All after-school activities have been canceled.

DeKalb County Schools will dismiss at 12 p.m. March 1

Fort Payne City Schools will dismiss at 12 p.m. March 1

Franklin County  Schools closed March 1

Guntersville City Schools  closing at 11 a.m. March 1

Hartselle City Schools  closing at 11:30 March 1

Jackson County Schools will dismiss at 12 p.m. March 1

Lawrence County (AL) Schools  Dismissing at 11:30 a.m. March 1

Limestone County Schools – closing immediately, bus riders will be released as soon as buses arrive March 1

Madison Academy will close at 11:50 a.m. March 1

Madison County Schools closing 11:30 a.m. March 1

Marshall County Schools  dismissing at 11 a.m. March 1

Morgan County Schools  closing at 12 March 1

Northeast Alabama Community College will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. March 1

Oakwood Adventist Academy  closing at 1:30 p.m March 1 All afternoon activities canceled.

Russellville City schools closed March 1

Scottsboro City Schools all afterschool activities are cancelled March 1

Snead State Community College  closing for the rest of the day (announced 12:50 pm.) Will resume normal business hours on Thursday.

 Wallace State  closing at 11:30 a.m. March 1
