Jason Mitchell Stinson, age 46, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Health & Rehab.
Born on February 20, 1971 in Maury County, Jason was the son of the late Jack Stinson and the late Mary Jean Mitchell Stinson. He was a happy, smiley, and kind man who loved to watch TV and listen to the radio. Jason especially loved gospel music.
He is survived by his siblings: Nathan Kyle (Kristen) Stinson of Columbia, Julie Diane Upshaw Mayse of Hohenwald, Laura Lee Upshaw (Mike) Gilmer of Knoxville, and James Wayne “Jimmy” (Heidi) Upshaw of Culleoka; and nieces and nephews: Brandy Michelle Boshers of Columbia, Christy Dawn English of Hohenwald, John Michael Gilmer of Columbia, James Upshaw, Catherine Upshaw, and Conner Upshaw all of Culleoka.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
