Kenneth Ezell Waldrep – Obituary

Kenneth Ezell Waldrep, age 82, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Helen Keller hospital after a short illness. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, was retired after a career in the automotive business and longtime owner of Hilltop Auto Wrecking.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 25th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darryl Pace and Rev. Alan Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Waldrep; daughter, Lori Beasley (Alan); son, Tim Waldrep; daughter-in-law, Patricia Waldrep; step-son Bill South (Claire); grandchildren, Cara Bugg (Kevin), Kyle Waldrep (Maria), Diana Beasley, Preston Beasley (Lauren), Zachary Waldrep; step-grandson, Chandler South; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Amelia Bugg, Lorelei and Aubree Waldrep, and Grayson Beasley; brother-in-law, Robert Hester; sister-in-law, Patsy Waldrep; several nephews and nieces and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Stella Waldrep, his first wife of many years Methyl Waldrep; son, Kenny Waldrep; brother, Larry Waldrep; and sister, Peggy Hester.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials to be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
