Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Britt, age 75, are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2017 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Mrs. Britt passed away early Wednesday in Jackson. She was born December 31, 1941 in Henderson County to the late Alford and Annie Lee Grice Waddle. She retired from Johnson Control after 44 years and enjoyed sewing and cooking Sunday dinners. She was preceded in death by two sons, Terry and Jack Britt; two sisters, Mary Moore and Janie Webb; and her brother, L. T. Waddle. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Mr. Jerry Britt; her son, Jimmy Britt (Kelli); three sisters, Bonnie Weaver (Burlin), Kay Galbrath, and Faye Maness (James); seven grandchildren, Justin Britt (Katie), Brittany Frensley (Chase), Clint Britt, Jessica Britt, Clay Carver, Cody Umstead, and Tara Jones (Cameron); and three great grandchildren, Ebby Britt, Jack Britt, and Hudson Jones.
