Nadine Olive Smith – Obituary

Nadine Olive Smith, age 87, passed away Feb. 15, 2017. Her visitation will be today from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Nadine was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ and Lone Cedar Church of Christ. She was a very outgoing lady who loved life. She was a great cook and you never left her home without having been offered something to eat. She loved making people laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Smith, and siblings, Agnes Smith, John Robert Olive, Money Olive, and Ann Glover. Surviving are her children, Linda Grigsby (Michael), Harry Smith, and Suzanne Stockton (Bubba); grandchildren, Tosha Phillips (Barry), Benjamin Smith (Angela), and Rebekah Savage (Thomas); great-grandchildren, Christopher Behel (Krislyn), Makenzie Behel, Tucker Smith, Hannah Savage, Hannah Phillips, Griffin Phillips, and Jared Phillips; brother, Brice Olive; and sister, Frankie Stewart (Jimmy).

Pallbearers will be Barry Phillips, Christopher Behel, Benjamin Smith, Thomas Savage, Keith Olive, and Glen Dale Olive.

The family would like to thank the staff of El Reposo Nursing Facility for their loving care.
