Brenda Ann Harlow Melton, 67, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at the North Miss. Medical Center after a brief illness. Brenda was born on July 4, 1949 in Nettleton to Joshua William Haynes and Helen Louise Phillips Harlow. She attended Nettleton Schools and worked many years as a seamstress for Futorian Furniture Manufacturing in Okolona. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and fishing.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at the Okolona Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Tommy Kelly officiating. Private burial will be at the Liberty Cemetery near Nettleton. Visitation will be from 10 AM-service time Monday only all at Holland-Okolona Chapel.
Survivors include her daughters, Angela Lamagna of Olive Branch and Heather Hindman of Mantachie. 6 grandchildren, Dustin, Kailey, Amber, Kagen, Danyel and Harleigh. A sister, Joyce Harvey of Amory and a brother, Jessie Edwards of Booneville. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Rita Sharp and a grandchild , Destyn Harris.
