A.J. Brannum, 83, of Big Cove, Alabama, passed peacefully from this life after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, June Peek Brannum, two daughters Teresa Brannum Hopkins (Bobby), Anita Brannum Gipson (Rod), one son Jeff Brannum, two brothers Lenard Branum (Runell) and Ben Brannum (Ruby) as well as many loving nieces, nephews and other friends.
A.J. was a retired home builder in Huntsville and Madison County. He was extremely loving and proud of his wife and children.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville with Graveside Funeral Service and burial following at 3:00 PM at Green Valley Cemetery in Big Cove. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting family.
