Dawn Burns, 87, formerly of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017. Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral service to follow. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Mike Kiser and Jason Schick will be officiating. She was a member of the church of Christ at Hawk Pride, Tuscumbia, then Sylacauga. She was a member of the Dorcas Group at Hawk Pride and the Crafty Ladies at Sylacauga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Euel Burns; daughter, Karen Willingham; parents, Vernon and Azilee White; and sister, Nell Garner.
Survivors are daughters, Tina Riner (Donnie) and Nancy Sockwell (Andy); son-in-law, Ricky Willingham (Kara); grandchildren, Ashley Crockett (Matt), Jeremy Riner (Erica), Andrea Padgett (Robert), Elizabeth Sockwell, Jordan Riner (Lindsay), and Rebekah Atkins (Bren); great-grandchildren, Bea Crockett, Zephyr Riner, and Austin Riner; and brother, Roland White (Blanche).
Pallbearers will be grandsons and Derek Sanderson.
