Funeral service for Glenda “Sis” Montgomery, 82, will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Valhermoso Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Craye Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church.
Mrs. Montgomery died on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Brookshire Health Care Center. She was born December 5, 1934, in Mississippi to Lonnie B. McGee and Georgia Frances DeLap. She was a member of the Valhermoso Springs Baptist Church and was employed by GTE in Assembly prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband: Letrell Montgomery, her parents, her daughter: Debra Montgomery Morrow and a son: David Montgomery.
