Sue Ray Green, 87, left her earthly home Sunday morning. Born in Limestone County, she lived most of her life in Madison County. She graduated from Huntsville High School in 1947. Until a few years ago, she was a very active member of Southside Baptist Church and spent many years as a child care worker in the church nursery, and visited many other churches with her Senior Adult Choir friends. Sue was a member of the Golden Reflections Ukelele Band and traveled with them throughout the US. She was a diehard Alabama fan and enjoyed life, especially spending time with her family.

Ms. Green was preceded in death by her parents, R.M. and Mayola Ray; and her daughter, Peggy Clemons.

Survivors include her three children, Patty Williams (Clay), Shirley Medley (Ron), and Richard Green (Debbie); son-in-law, Paul Clemons; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dot McKee; and nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she loved very much.

The family is planning a private service with Rev. Carl Malm assisting.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Family Care Caring House, 3304 Westmill Dr SW # A, Huntsville, AL 35805.
