SHEFFIELD-Come join us for a documentary film on Friday, Feb. 10th, MIND/GAME: The Unquiet Journey of Chamique Holdsclaw. This 56 minute film covers the journey of “the female Michael Jordan” from troubled family life to basketball superstardom and her long-hidden battle with mental illness.
The film’s producer and director Rick Goldsmith will attend the screening at the Ritz for a question and answer session following the film.
The film is presented by SouthArts’ Southern Circuit of Independent Filmmakers and The Tennessee Valley Art Associations’s Ritz Cinema Society.
Then on Saturday, Feb. 11th, don’t miss our annual Jake Landers Bluegrass Concert. This year we will have a free songwriting workshop from 5 – 6:30 p.m. with Carl Jackson followed by a 7 p.m. concert with headliner The Claire Lynch Band including performances by Jake Landers, Iron Horse and Carl Jackson.
