Ken Peeples, age 83, of Warrior, passed away Wednesday February 1, 2017 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Ken was retired from U.S. Pipe and Foundry. He was a deacon at New Temple Baptist Church and veteran of the U. S. Navy where he proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict from August 1951 to August 1954.
Funeral service will be Saturday February 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at New Temple Baptist Church. Rev. J.J. Creel will officiate. Graveside service will follow the funeral at Crestview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm and again Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Myrtie Peeples; brothers Pruitt, Bill, Stewart Peeples; sisters, Lilian Watwood, Linda Sue Estis; great grandson Alan Ryan Peeples.
He is survived by his wife, Ova Peeples; sons: Kenneth, Alan (Cindy), Jeff; grand kids, Christopher Michael, Justin (Becky), Haley (James), Hannah (Bradley), Lizzy; great grand kids, Tanner Pruden, Tucker Pruden, Mackenzie Peeples, Sawyer Pruden, Emma Kate Peeples, and Joby Peeples.
