Mr. Winford McGarian “Mac“ Kent Jr., age 50, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Parkway. Service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Richie Thompson and Rev. Brandon Keel officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at the church. Burial in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kent was born December 12, 1966, in Decatur, AL to Winford M. Kent Sr., and Gaynell Engle Kent. He was preceded in death by his father and son Cameron Cecil Kent.
He is survived by his wife Rita Graves Kent; one son Winford “Trey“ M. Kent III of Decatur; daughter Heather Kent of Decatur; mother Gaynell Kent of Decatur; stepson Michael Manning of Decatur; stepdaughter Carmon McCrary of Athens; three sisters Marcella Graves, Shelia Denard and Debbie Seal all of Decatur; four grandchildren Karlie, Kamryn, Austin and Preslee.
