Bertha Johnson Alexander, 99, of Florence, passed away January 28, 2017. She enjoyed a career of banking with Central Bank and retired after 35 years of service. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Florence where she enjoyed practicing her faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2017 from 12-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Grover Johnson; sister, Lurla May Johnson Brinkworth; and her husband, Wiley Fletcher Alexander.
She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends, who loved her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Florence, or to your favorite charity.
