Catharine D. Reeves, 101, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Dama Dunnavant, son, Ramon D. Reeves, and daughter, Dama Reeves. She devoted her time and efforts to Dunnavant’s store until it closed. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Huntsville, and a founding member of the Pilot Club.
Survivors include grandsons, Christopher Reeves (Christina), and John Robert Reeves (Bambi); and six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Cara, Peyton, Morgan and Lauren.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 29 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Huntsville.
