Dera Lee Blackwell, age 90, of Oakman, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Ernest Chapel Cemetery. Brother Bill Phillips will officiate.
Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by her Husband-Major Blackwell; Daughter-Annie Lou Blackwell.
She is survived by her Daughters-Ludie Jane Allen, Bobbie Sanford and Kay Whitehead (Roger); Sons-Larry Blackwell (Samantha) and Phillip Blackwell (Lisa); 6 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Blackwell, Bumper Blackwell, Pete Blackwell, Blake Makemson, Mickey Makemson and Cody Courington.
