Rayburn Peebles, 80, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2017. Visitation will be today, Jan. 16, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at Colbert Memorial, with the service to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Thomas Thornton will be officiating.
Rayburn was a self-employed milk distributor for the Muscle Shoals area for 50 plus years. Rayburn was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 62 wonderful years, Betty Peebles; sons, Anthony “Rock” Peebles, Bryan Peebles (Renee); daughters, Sandra Peebles Pullen (Doug), Beth Hayes (Robert), Karen Peebles Thigpen (Barry); 13 grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren; and beloved pet, Barney
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Aaron Pullen, Jared Pullen, Chad Peebles, Jacob Thigpen, Jeremy Thigpen, and Tyler Isbell.
Special thanks to Alacare Hospice, Julie West, and grandkids, Nikki Thompson, Jeremy Thigpen, and Janna Thigpen for the care given to our dear loved one.
