Graveside service and interment for Margie Johnson, 72, of Decatur will be Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Brother Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson died Jan. 12, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1944 in Arkansas to Claude and Josie Hitt Bunn. Mrs. Johnson retired from the Lurleen B. Wallace Center where she worked as a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde W. Johnson, of Decatur; one daughter, Sandy Nance, of Hartselle; one brother, Vernon Bunn, of Texas; one sister, Loretta Hardy, of Arkansas; two grandchildren, Brittany Evans, Tyler Nance Stringer; and three grandchildren, Caden Evans, Conner Sullivan, and Anistyn Stringer.
Pallbearers will be Josh Stringer and J.R. Hutchinson.
