David Albert Gray, 57, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan and was formerly a resident of Golden, Mississippi. He was a musician, an electrician, and a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.
Services will be Saturday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with Reverend Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, Alabama. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his mother, Martha Paulyne Gray, Florence, Alabama; six children, Emily Horning, Kimberly Miller, Tyler Gray, Taylor Gray, Lacey Gray, and David Gray; two sisters, Martha Emmons and Janie Wallace (Bryan); one brother, Robert Gray (Rachel); grandchildren; nieces; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Albert Gray, and a sister, Alana Gray.
Visitation will be today, 10-11 a.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama.
