Inez Elizabeth (“Boots”) Clemons, 93, of Killen, passed away Jan. 5, 2017, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing home after an extended illness. She was a member of Greenhill First Baptist Church, O.E.S., TOPS, Women’s Missionary Union, and a homemaker.

Survivors include:

Ray Clemons and wife Janelle Parrish Clemons
Daughter: Cecilia Summers
Grandchildren: Chris Clemons
Nathan Clemons
Brooke Clemons
Drew Clemons
Great Grandchildren: Brody Clemons

Courtney Turner
Khloe Clemons
Abigail Long
Oliver Long
Jennah Vines
Jasmine Vines

Husband: Andrew A. Clemons
Parents: Thelma M. Tribble and Sara Bishop Tribble
Son-in-law: Bobby Summers
Brothers: Cecil Tribble and T. A. Tribble
Sister: Lucille Brown

Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 7, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Gregg Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery.
The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Drew Clemons, Chris Clemons, Nathan Clemons, Bryan Long, Jeff Jones, and Kyle Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Taylor, Mike Forehand, Jo Jackson, and Greg Hamner.

The family would like to thank Dr. Webb, Lisa Cobb of Hospice of the Shoals, and the entire staff of Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home, especially Annette Parker, for their loving care.

Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
