Marjory ‘Marge’ Herder, 87, passed away January 4, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John, three sons, John C. (Sandi), Todd (Lisa), and David (Susan), ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Marge grew up in Elmhurst, IL, a Chicago suburb. She was the youngest of three daughters. She graduated from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA. Marge married John in 1956 and continued living in Elmhurst, and then, as John had company transfers, St. Louis, Omaha, Houston, and after retirement, Georgetown, TX. She and John have lived in Huntsville for three years and are members of Latham United Methodist Church. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 7 in the Magnolia Room at Magnolia Trace Retirement Community.
