Mary Sue Jones, 73, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017, at her home in Fulton. She was born September 27, 1943 to the late John Paul Jones Sr. and the late Lovie A. Beard Jones. She started out working at One Hour Martinizing for 20 years, where she went from the counter to a professional dry cleaner. She also worked at All Star Cleaners for 10 years. While there she obtained her Real Estate License and sold real estate on the side. She worked 3 years at Daniel’s Nursing Home and began classes to become an R.N. She later worked at North Mississippi State Hospital for 9 years. She started out as a Mental Health Tech, then after passing her state boards, began as RN in 2000 until her retirement at the end of September 2008 She was a member of Morning View Baptist Church.
Services will be 11:00 am on Friday January 6, 2017 with Bro. Chris Burrows officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, Jan. 5 all at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Keyes Cemetery.
Survivors include her Brothers: John Paul Jones, Jr. of Fulton, Claude (Freida) Jones of Fayette, AL, William (Leigh) Jones of Fulton, David (Peggy) Jones of Baldwyn, and Casey (Debbie) Jones of Wren; Sisters: Tamar (Cecil) Lucas of Fulton and Diane Bishop of Nettleton; several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Maxine Jones Espinosa.
Pallbearers are Desmond Robbins, Jeremy Lucas, Christopher Lucas, Corey Jones, Tim Jones, Jamie Bishop, and Aaron Jones.
