Rosemary Annette Whitten – Obituary

Rosemary Annette Whitten 54, of Muscle Shoals, passed away December 24, 2016 at her residence. She was a member of Harrison Chapel Church of Killen, Ala. Rosemary graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1980. She attended UNA where she was a “Pride of Dixie Lionette.” Later, she became a local realtor for 13 years. She then received her Life and Health Insurance license and worked for United Benefits. Rosemary will be missed, especially her smile!

Please come celebrate Rosemary Whitten’s life at Killen United Methodist Church Life Center, Friday, December 30, 2016 beginning at 2 p.m. Dress casual, bring your favorite dish and plan for a happy event.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Juanita Whitten.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Whitten; children, Stuart, Drew, and Forrest Sockwell, and Matt, and Josh Whitten; daughters-in-law, Ashley Roberts, Brittany Sockwell, and Erin Whitten; brothers, Kim and Tommy Whitten; sisters-in-law, Sandra, Paula, Linda, and Sandy Whitten, and Marsha Russell; brothers-in-law, Mike, David, and Greg Whitten; mother-in-law, Bettye Whitten; grandchildren, Colton, Kensley, Landon, and Fitz Sockwell, Alston, Nate, Lizzie, Anna Kate, and Carson Whitten; and lots of special nieces and nephews and cousins.

A special thanks to Linda Whitten, Jennifer Berryman, Valla Brown, and Shelia Jackson.
