Mrs. Bennie Kay Long, 75, died Monday December 19, 2016 at her home. She was born in McMinnville on August 22, 1941 to Willard Grissom and Louie Marie Roberts Grissom who preceded her in death along with her infant brother Sammy.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Long Sr.; daughters, Regina K. Smartt, Beersheba Springs and Crista (Joe) Long, McMinnville; sons, Charles E. “Chuck” (Dee) Long Jr., Spencer, Mark (Susan) Long, Beersheba Springs and Jeremy (Carol) Long, Chattanooga; brother, Joe (Martha) Grissom, McMinnville; grandchildren, Stephanie, Nick, Cody, Tiffany, Mason, Jade, Wesley, Kayleigh and Kirsty; step-grandchildren, Tyler and Sean, Steffen and Tyrus.
