Mary Jeanette Matthews, age 82, of Ethridge, TN passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired nurse from Crockett Hospital, and a member of Summertown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Earl and Mattie Cleveland Putman Wiley; her husband, Theron Matthews; two brothers, Thomas Wiley and wife Pauline, and Arnold Wiley and wife Geneva; two sisters, Vernell Michael and Margie Kinslow and husband James; and sister-in-law, Charline Peters.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 15, 2016, with Howard Kitter officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
