Funeral service for Michael Kent Rauch, 57, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 8th, 2016 at Friendship Methodist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery, Rev. Scotty Griffin officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Rauch passed away Monday, December 5th, 2016 at his residence. He was born August 30, 1959. He was an inspector at Americold.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert P. Rauch; his birth mother, Shirley Bleything Rauch; daughter, Heather King; Mother and Father –in- law, Juanita and J.P. Cobbs.
Survivors include his mother, Dian Rauch; his wife of 30 years, Connie Rauch; son, Michael Rauch; daughter, Abby Peek; brother, Barry (Beverly) Woods; brother-in-law, Phillip (Phyllis) Cobbs; sisters, Kim (Mike) Bates, Kathy (Jeremy) Kelley; sister-in-law, Wanda (Charlie) Vest; grandchildren, Emma-Grace Rauch, Anna Poole; Great-Grandchild, Mason Peek; Aunts, Dottie (Ron) Hust of Washington State, Roean Roe of Evansville, Indiana; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 9 p.m.
