Funeral service for Rev. Buddie Ralph Brown, Sr. , 77, will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown died on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1939, in Shelby County to Barney Ralph Brown and Ruby Lee McKinney Brown. After retiring from Delta Airlines, he went back to school and became a Methodist Minister. He pastored at Morris Chapel United Methodist, Hillsboro United Methodist , Neel United Methodist and Somerville United Methodist Churches. He loved and cherished his family and was most happy when they were together. Brother Brown always enjoyed a good clean joke. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson: Patrick Sutton.
