Harold Wayne Dolan, 72, of Florence, passed away December 4, 2016 at E.C.M. Hospital. He was a retired Lieutenant with the Florence Police Department.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 11 – 1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Jacksonburg Cemetery.
Mr. Dolan was preceded by his parents, Nelson and Rosa Dolan; paternal parents, James and Sarah Dolan; brother, Edward Dolan; and a sister, Louise Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Jean Dolan; son, Harold Jaymes Dolan; daughter, Danette McCravy; brothers, Duane and Bobbie Dolan; sisters, Kathleen Murphy, Marie Konczak, Sue Baursoe, Lyn Gist, and Wanda Sue Pollock; grandchildren, Stephen McCravy, Whitney Carter, Ashlee Dolan, Kristopher McCravy, Jaye Dolan, Josh McCravy, and John Dolan; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be: Stephen McCravy, Kristopher McCravy, Joshua McCravy, Jaye Dolan, Junior Clanton, Matt Carter, Jeff Dolan, and Dewight Quillen.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Billy Townsend, Ronald Scott, Carmen Ray, Florence Police Department, Clifford Whitten, Charlie Cromwell, and Allen Wade Murphy.
