ATHENS-Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson released a statement concerning a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of McDonalds on Friday, December 2:
“Investigator Jonathan Caldwell has been working on the robbery of an individual that occurred last Friday in the parking lot of McDonald’s on US 72 east.
He has a photograph of the driver of the vehicle which I have attached. We also have a photograph of the vehicle the two suspects that committed the robbery left in.
We now believe the car may be a silver 2010 KIA Optima. I have also 
attached a photograph of the car.
We’re asking if anyone has any information about the suspects they contact Athens Police Department at 256-233-8700.
