Clara Mae Myers, 68 of Haleyville, entered into rest on November 29, 2016 at Hendrix Health Care.
Clara was born February 13, 1948, in Haleyville, Alabama. She enjoyed visiting and singing with her family. She was known as “Clo” by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 6pm – 8pm at Nichols Funeral Home, Double Springs, where services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10am. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill No.2 Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Bill Monroe Myers; daughter, Vera Borden; sister, Faye Taylor; she was “Maw Maw” to 5 grandchildren, Joey Borden, Diana Borden, Samantha Myers, Aubrey Myers, and Austin Hopson; 2 great-grandchildren, Noah Ray Shay and Gracie Mae Shay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Myers; parents, Monroe and Vera Liverett; grandson, Phillip Dewayne Borden; son, Stevie Wade Myers; brothers Hamp, Carl and Cranford Liverett; sisters, Rowena Glasgow, Charlene Liverett and Ivary Cagle.
