Funeral service for Lynda E. Haggard age 72 of Joppa will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11:00am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Vest and Randy Hensley officiating with burial in the Red Hill Cemetery in Lawrence County with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ms. Haggard, who died on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital, was born September 10, 1944 in Lawrence County to Chester Lee Dobbins and Anna Callahan Dobbins. She retired from Athens Limestone Hospital where she was a LPN. Ms. Haggard loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, was an amazing cook and loved to listen to Southern Gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Phillip LaDon Haggard, 3 brothers; John H. Dobbins, James A. Dobbins and Wintford Dobbins and 2 sisters; Norma Lee Dobbins Prater and Imogene Dobbins Shaddix.
