Corrections Officer Arrested Charged With Promoting Prison Contraband 3rd Degree

arrestedFLORENCE-Brandon Pate was arrested on Thursday, November 24 according to Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton.

Pate was a corrections officer with the Lauderdale County Corrections Facility.  He was arrested on Thanksgiving day and charged with promoting prison contraband  3rd degree.

Sheriff Singleton said Pate allegedly smuggled cigarettes,super glue, tobacco and a cell phone to an inmate in the jail.
