The Funeral service for Ronald Ezell Birdsong, age 69, of Athens, Alabama will be Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, at 1 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Brother Eric Broadway officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in O’Neal Cemetery.
Mr. Birdsong passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born April 23, 1947, in Limestone County, Alabama to Nellie and Howard Birdsong. He was retired from Army National Guard and Kohler. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorsey Birdsong of 14 years; one son, Chad Birdsong and wife, Leslie; one daughter, Chastity Birdsong; three stepdaughters, Stacy Campbell, Elizabeth Broadway, and April Hargrove; one sister, Glenda Faye Black; two grandchildren and seven stepgrandchildren.
