Emily Elizabeth Jeter Phillips, age 93, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Pulaski in Pulaski, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Santini Corporation, and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lynnie Hawford Jeter; her husband, Walter Phillips; five sisters, Nina Byrd, Lillian Gower, Thelma Ray, Wilma Woods, and Ailene Autry; and two brothers, George Jeter and Guy Jeter.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2016, with Tim Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
