Brian David Turner, 38, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. He was born July 19, 1978. He was a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School and Mississippi State University. He was former owner of BT’s Restaurant in Pontotoc and was currently working at Forklift Restaurant in Tupelo. He was an avid golfer and Mississippi State fan. He enjoyed working outdoors and loved music, singing, and watching Calyn play soccer.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, November 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Saltillo Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Christina Turner, of Pontotoc; one daughter, Calyn Turner; his mother, Pam Fowler (Shane) of Olive Branch; his father, Tommy Turner (Kristen) of Tupelo; one sister, Brooke Newsom (Blake) of Mobile, AL; one niece, Judson Newsom; two nephews, Levi and Nehemiah Newsom; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
