Cleburne Gene Mize, age 72 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away November 20, 2016.
He was retired from Caterpillar as a mechanic and attended Shiloh Baptist Church. He was also a member of Ashridge Hunting Club and UAW Local 974.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. C.R. Hood to officiate. Burial to follow in Frost Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his life partner, Josephine Clark; children, Gina Carr(Cary) and Teresa Trunk(Mark Smith); brother, Junior Mize and sister, Mary Harvill; 5 grandchildren, Ryne Carr, Carrie lynn Carr, Hayley Mize, Charlotte Trunk and Braden Dalrymple.; great grandchild, Oliver Gerdes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolphus Mize and Lenah Whitman; sister, Louise Hood; nephews, Jerry and Steve Hood; niece, Angie Mize.
Pallbearers are Cary Carr, Ryne Carr, Braden Dalyrmple, Danny Hood, Tyler Berry, Heath Garrison, Mark Smith, Ricky Harris.
