Bobby Ray McBroom was born in Ripley, Tennessee on February 4, 1934 the son of the late Augustus O. D. and Kathrine McBroom Chism.
On October 8, 1960 he was united in marriage to Donna V. Savage, who preceded her husband in death on February 22, 2016.
Mr. McBroom was the retired owner and operator of Mr. P.I.G. Pit BBQ in Memphis, Tennessee. He loved boating, being on the water and water-skiing with his kids and grandkids.
Mr. McBroom departed this life on November 19, 2016 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 15 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Brown of Counce, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathy Stephans, two sons, Terry and Michael McBroom, two grandchildren, Justin McBroom and Brandie Austin and two sisters, Sylvia Rediker and Ellen Hood.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
