MOULTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic fatality near Moulton on Monday, November 21. The accident took the life of a Carbon Hill teen:
“A single-vehicle crash at 2 p.m. Monday, November 21, has claimed the life of a Carbon Hill teen. The teen was killed when the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt in which she was a passenger left the roadway, struck an embankment and then a utility pole.
The teen, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. The vehicle’s driver, also a juvenile, was transported to Lawrence Medical Center in Moulton.
The crash occurred on Lawrence County 236 12 miles north of Moulton.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
