Annie Marie Long Martin, 86, of Belmont, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Florence, AL. She was born March 23, 1930 to the late Edgar Long and the late Minnie D. Counce Long. She was a homemaker for most of her life and was a member of Second Street church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and working with her flowers. She also enjoyed taking care of others.
A ceremony for Ann will be at 1:00 pm on Monday November 21, 2016 at Second Street church of Christ, in Belmont, with Ministers Ron Deaton, David Conley, and Adam Cozart officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00 pm Sunday evening at Second Street church of Christ. Burial will be in Belmont Memorial. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Jeff (Tonia) Martin of Belmont; daughters: Donna Cooper of Florence, AL and Johnnie (Larry) Strickland of Tishomingo; granddaughters: Mendy (Steven) McClelland, BreAnna (Sean) Greenwood, and Katie (John) Bohannon; grandsons: Matt Cooper, Ridge Martin, Rhett Martin, and Chad (April) Strickland; great-grandchildren; Klara Kate, Hadley, Reagan, Kirstyn, Grady, Grace, Allie, Anniston, and Breelyn; sisters: Veda (Earnie) Floyd of WI, and Ouida Starkey of AL; sister-in-law, Martha Brown.
Preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Billy E. Martin, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
Pallbearers will be Matt Cooper, Ridge Martin, Rhett Martin, Chad Strickland, Steven McClelland, and John Bohannon.
Honorary Pallbearers are David Martin, Fred Starkey, and Steven Starkey.
