Mr. Chester S. Leonard, 65, made his transition to his heavenly home on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Muscle Shoals, with the Reverend Jothan White officiating.
Chester was born on Dec. 6, 1950, to the late Jeff and Lester Leonard. He was a Vietnam War veteran, a devoted husband, and father of three children.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Leighton, Alabama at an early age. He worked as an electrician and plumber until his health declined. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Donna Leonard; one sister, Thykle T. Coman (James E.); one brother, Alandus Leonard; three daughters, Fatimah As-Salafy (Mustafa) Katherine Chenault (Thomas), and Katherine N. Leonard; one stepdaughter, Kayla; nieces and nephews; and other relatives. Compassionate and proficient preparation presented by Trinity Memorial Funeral Home.
