A Celebration of Life for Mr. Dallas Pointer, 76 of Moulton will be 2:00 PM, Saturday at Reynold Funeral Home and inhumation to follow in Lindsey Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon till funeral time at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Dallas was born July 27, 1940 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Tennis and Amy McDaniel Pointer. He departed this life on November 16, 2016 at Lawrence Medical Center in Moulton, Alabama.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Oakville M.B. Church. He was educated in the Lawrence County School System and attended Moulton High School. He was employed at Prestolite Corporation and later worked for Delphi where he retired with 30 plus years of service.
Dallas enjoyed farming and fishing. He was a quiet, reserved man that loved his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Tennis and Amy Pointer; one brother, H.J. Pointer.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one companion, Jessie Peal Polk; three children, Kenneth A. Brackins both of Moulton, Sandra (Marcus) Abrams and Dallas D. (Christina) Pointer all of Decatur; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
