Jack David Couch, 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 9 after a lengthy and valiant battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and had an unshakeable faith in God. Mr. Couch was also a graduate of Athens State College and was a U.S. Marine, police officer, salesman and real estate appraiser.
Mr. Couch was preceded in death by his brother, Jesse Sheffield Couch; his sister, Martha E. Couch; and his grandson, Jack David Couch, III. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 54 years, Linda Rose Cooley Couch; his sons, Jeff Couch, Jack David Couch, II and Joseph Couch (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Catherine Couch, Grayson Couch, Seth Couch, Gillian Couch, Jackson Couch and William Couch.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama. The funeral will be held on Monday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m., also at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Camellia Hospice, the American Lung Association or to a cause of your choosing.
