ATHENS-City offices will be closed on Friday in observance of Veterans Day.
This will not impact the sanitation schedule. There will be no change in service for Veterans Day.
There will be changes in service for the Thanksgiving holiday.
There will be no garbage collection on Nov. 24 on Thanksgiving Day.
If your garbage is normally picked up on Thursday, Nov. 24, it will be picked up on Friday, Nov. 25.
If your garbage is normally picked up Friday, Nov. 25, it will be picked up on Saturday, Nov. 26.
Please have bins out by 6 a.m.
