Ghassem “Gus” Kianpour, 60 of Douglasville Georgia, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 10, 2016 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery in Morgan City. He is survived by his children: Seth Kianpour, Ali T. Kianpour, Sohalah Kianpour and Abbi Kianpour; two grandchildren; his former spouse Pamela Kianpour; brothers: Garshasb Kianpour, Shahram Kianpour, Shahab Kianpour; sisters: Mina Kianpour, Sima Kianpour, Shaheen Kinpour, Shahiah Kianpour and Zheela Kianpour, step mother Setareh Kianpour and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Heidar and Khodabas and brothers: Ebrahim Kianpour and Esfandiar Kianpour.
