June 16, 1942 – Nov 4, 2016 Wilma Sims Strickland of Huntsville, AL went home to the Lord Friday. Wilma, a native of Brookston, IN, graduated from Lipscomb University, and later completed her Masters Degree from A&M University. She is a retired teacher from Huntsville City Schools – Davis Hills and Montview elementary schools. She is survived by her husband, Lee P. Strickland, children Heather Jacoby, Christy Williams and husband Bryan, and her two grandchildren Rayne Jacoby and Grayson Williams. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Young and her husband Dave of Lafayette, IN and by 4 nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 PM at Central Church of Christ, 401 Clinton Ave. Huntsville, AL.
