Marcella Swaim Styles, 94, passed away Sunday October 30, 2016. Marcella was a native of Gurley, Alabama but lived in Huntsville for the last 63 years. She retired from NASA as a Program Analyst in 1975. Marcella loved working with many different crafts, and working in the yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Patrick and Cora Hall Swaim, brothers, Fredrick A. Swaim and Buist W. Swaim, and husband, James Waylon Styles. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Styles Tate (Jimmy); son, James Dawson Styles (Diana); grandchildren, Michelle Tait Roth, William Frank Tait III, Mary Styles Steakley, Cori Styles Chase, and Elizabeth Styles Key; and great-grandchildren, Megan and Madison Roth, Hannah and Bridgette Tait, Hannah, Maddie and Hayden Bradford, Ella, Eva, Emory and Eliza Chase, and Dawson, Jackson, Bryson, and Harrison Key.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 2, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 in the Chapel at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The service will follow at 3:00 in the Sanctuary with the Reverends Hal Oakley and David Kling officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marcella’s name to the Covenant Presbyterian Church Helping Hands Fund.
