Joe Harold Thornton, age 70, of Parrish, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be graveside Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Thornton was preceded in death by his Father-Roscoe Thornton; Mother-Glendon Smith; Brother-John Thornton.
He is survived by his Wife-Emily Thornton; Daughters-Christi Thornton, Tammie Thornton, Deanna Whisenhunt and Diona Kimbrell; Step Sons-Richard Shows and Robert Shows; Sister-Carline Roberts; Brothers-Roscoe Thornton, James Smith and Orville Smith; Grandchildren-Brandon Thornton, Krissie Gilbert, Jeffrey Whitt, Ashley Whitt, Madison Davis, Carlos Dimas, Marina Dimas, Khloe Kimbrell and Kashlyn Whisenhunt; Great Grandchildren-Anna Whitt, Emily Stark and Ki Herron.
