Early Morning Break-In Results In Arrest

FLORENCE-The Florence Police released a statement regarding a home break-in Friday, October 28:

“At 1 am this morning officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Sherrod Ave to a reported burglary in progress. Officers arrived to find that a male had broken into a home and then fled on foot. Witnesses provided a description of the suspect who was located a short distance away.  Rodney Russell was found to be heavily intoxicated and was arrested at the scene and charged. He is currently held in the LCDC.”
